This place is rubbish. I've had bad experiences with them the last couple of times, once a pigeon feather had actually made its way into my salad (and into my mouth), then generally mediocre food and a snippy, inattentive waitress with a big smile and short skirt. Gotta love that. This place has great atmosphere and pricing, but poor food quality, hygiene (obviously), and staff attitudes. Head further up Main St. for better options.

Used to live in the area years ago and used to frequent this place. Have not been in for a couple years and received a mail out saying there are some new things happening. So I went to check it out. I am a foodie and have worked in restaurants for years. It in fact has new owners and they are doing an amazing job! The staff is very friendly and helpful, the new bar and kitchen is great! The ventalation is upgraded and you no longer smell of food when you leave. There are lots of new elements bathrooms, bar, seating, lighting. Food was great good variety of food, lots of good appies, very creative and exiting wine and sangria lists. Well done you won me as a regular once again!! Thanks

Actually they've been open for dinner and lunch for quite awhile, although I don't remember specifically when, at least a year if not more. Offerings are always consistently well made and fresh and hot upon arrival (except salads of course). The Med Linguine is very good, one of my faves. Menu overall is not pretentious nor too gourmet which is fine. Drinks menu is long and wide and that's great for such a casual, budget place..
Ambience is especially cozy because of the darkness. My only pet peeve is their kitchen ventilation system doesn't seem to be up to snuff, as everytime I come out of there my clothes are drenched in grease smell.

We've been meaning to go to this place for a long time but only until recently has it been open for lunch service. Ironically we found time to go during dinner service. We found it to be a very nice experience. I highly recommend the Mediterranean Linguine; the pasta was perfectly al dente and not over-sauced - full of flavour and just the right portion size for dinner.
They offer a weekly Creme Brulee for dessert - but we were too filled to try it. Also on the dessert menu was a delectable flourless chocolate cake - looked great on the menu and a definite try for the next visit.
The ambience is very nice - possibly a little dark for some likings; but perfect for a night out! There is a second level that I am sure well suited for a small private party.
With the extended hours, i will see myself visiting this place a lot more in the future to try their lunch menu and tapas menu.....YUM!
Highly recommend that all foodies give this place a try!
