Brilliant place, recommend the breakfast!

Whenever I am in whistler, I always make time to go over to elements. Whatever you go for, you will be in for a good meal. Breakfasts are always spot on and made to perfection. Dinners are varied, well presented & the cocktails are incredible! Only downside is sometimes you have to wait for a table, but its always worth it.

Each time I am in Whistler, I always eat breakfast at Elements. The service has been great each time (sometimes a little weird) but still good. The best eggs bennie in the village and they also give you a shot of their daily smoothy. I look forward to going back!

Nice, Cozy and Tasty
-
(5/18/2009 6:45:57 PM)
This was the second of five places we visited on our evening with Whistler Tasting Tours.  It's a small venue off the beaten track with a cozy and fun feel to it.  You can see the chefs working away behind a hightop bar which was kind of cool.  We tried their pan seared salmon with fresh veggies - really fresh and full of flavour.  They paired it nicely with a Prospect Sauvignon Blanc.

We'd recommend this place for a casual and comfortable evening with friends, but not if you're looking for real fine dining.  We didn't try the breakfast but our tour guide was recommending the eggs benny or stuffed french toast - apparently his favorite.  And the prices looked really reasonable.

suspicious!!
-
(4/12/2009 8:06:04 AM)
Am I the only person who is a little suspicious here? On March 2, someone writes a bad review & gives this place one star. On March 7 THREE people in a row (including 2 within 1 hour of each other) pop up on the site and give the place 5 stars. Considering the previous review was in January, and the one prior to that was in 2008, this seems tad obvious, at least to me! Webmaster, is there a way to stop friends & owners from tooting their own horns. I've never eaten here, so I'm not going to join the debate about the food or service, but I am highly skeptical about the three reviews posted on the same day. (The site wouldn't let me post without checking the forks, so I checked 3 -- but ignore that).

consistently wonderful experiences at Elements
-
(3/22/2009 4:10:26 PM)
I spend quite a lot of time in Whistler and always make a point to go to Elements both for breakfast and for tapas in the evening.  The selection of eggs benedict and frittatas that are served in the morning are the best that can be found in Whistler (maybe in all of BC) and the freshly squeezed juices are a real treat.  The menu in the evening is innovative and always delicious.  The martini and wine lists are also great.  The service staff is friendly, fun and very engaging.  I always feel welcome when I come to my favourite restaurant in Whistler

Whistler Locals Love Elements
-
(3/7/2009 10:02:13 PM)

The staff are prompt and attentive, the food is always unique, delicious, and moderately priced, and the atmosphere is relaxed and inviting.

Elements makes the best breakfast in Whistler.

best breakfast ever
-
(3/7/2009 4:43:02 PM)

I have travelled around the world numerous times, and have eaten in my share of restaurants in the 49 countries that I've been blessed to visit, Elements has ,in my opinion, the best breakfast ever.

Prompt, freindly service coupled with great food and atmosphere.  Wonderful.  Thank You.

You win the gold medal, fitting considering the olymics are just around the corner.

Can I take you with me?

Once again we journey to our favourite restaurant, elements, and once again they exceeded our expectations.

The food was superb, the service excellent and friendly.  We really love the restaurant and the staff too.  When are you going to open one in creekside!!

Love your work elements, I wish there were more out there like you.  Keep up the good work!

absolutely terrible service
-
(3/2/2009 9:04:17 AM)
We are whistler locals and have been regulars at Elements for breakfast for quite some time now. It used to be a treat. We have agreed as of yesterday to never go back. THe last 2 dining experiences we have had at elements has been unacceptable. First off, the server argued with me about what I had been delivered and what i had actually ordered as there was a mistake on our bill, not mine but hers and i got an argument ( what a joke) Yesterday we gave it another shot because we are forgiving . I understand basic service, I dine out alot. what we got was our meal delivered after a 40 minute wait, no quality check, no top up of coffee, no water, no offering of other beverages as we watched the servers gather and polish glasses oblivious to what was going on. We then had our bill delivered after having our jackets on for 10 minutes waiting. We did not get an apology or "how was your breakfast" but we did get a $40 bill, this is why it is a treat to dine out at a nice breakfast spot where the food is excellent and the service reflects that. Not anymore. WE have been forced to source out another local spot. Good-bye elements. P.S it is unfortunate that the service does not reflect the consistant quality of the food which is excellent.

Terrible Service
-
(1/15/2009 11:11:17 AM)
I recently had some horrible service during breakfast at Elements Whistler. The food took over half an hour and when I complained I got a rude server who argued about how long it had taken. I wouldn't go back

Excellent Food
-
(4/30/2008 5:50:42 PM)

Elements is a fantastic restaurant. It comes with a great reputation for a reason, excellent (yet simple) food.

Breakfast is a must at this restaurant, I had Dungeness Crab eggs benny earlier this year and it was possibly the best breakfast I've ever had. Excellently cooked (the poached egg was beautiful), it combined few high quality flavours and let them speak for themselves - isn't that what cooking is all about.

The service was friendly and swift too. Whilst the restaurant is small, it is not at all cramped and is well laid out.

One of my All Time Favourite Places!
-
(2/24/2008 2:01:14 PM)

Elements is my absolute favourite place to eat in Whistler! I cannot say enough good things about this place, the service is fantastic, the atmosphere and décor is sexy and fun, and the food is just incredible. My boyfriend and I regularly go for a romantic meal out or for the best breakfast of our lives. I have never had a better breakfast. The menu is constantly changing and evolving but I have always enjoyed every single thing we’ve ordered. The drinks are great too! And the desserts are to die for.

I always get the Belgian Chocolate Mousse Pyramid and my boyfriend always gets the special crème brulee. For breakfast the various eggs benedicts are amazing, try the Dungeness crab benny with citrus Hollandaise sauce or the Brie and ham stuffed French toast. They do not take reservations and there is often a wait so get there a little early. I recommend this restaurant to everyone!
