Rim Rock Cafe says:
In its 21st year, the Rimrock Café has delighted diners with its innovative, fresh cuisine and emphasis on the finest fish and game, artfully prepared with inventiveness and flair. The restaurant is consistently recognized as a local’s favorite for atmosphere, service and a sublime eating experience. Behind the large glass window of our lit cellar, all manner of wines from the glamorous and recognizable to the intriguing and new seem to hum seductively. Two fireplaces cast an ambient glow over the chatter and energy of our rustic dining room. In summer, enjoy your meal on a sunny, landscaped patio and make sure you save room for Whistler’s best dessert.

We went to Rim Rock after several of our ski group recommended it. Their speciality is sea food. I have never tasted such sublime combinations of flavours. The food here appears tempting on but almost simple when reading the menu, however what appears on the table is a perfect combination of flavours and textures that brings the food to life. Salmon has never tasted so special. Thanks for a great meal.

Worth it!

Not in the village but worth the drive or cab fare.  Take advantage when they have their set priced menu for the best value.

We enjoyed everything about our meal.

Fine dining food in a relaxed atmosphere. The noise is just at the right level .The waiter was attentive and friendly but not overbearing. All the things most restaurants just cant get the right mix of.

The food was the best we have had in Whistler.

One of the hardest reservations to get in Whistler

This is a 1st class restaurant.  It is pricey because it is very good.  Be sure to book a week or more in advance even for midweek.  The oysters are excellent as is everything else.  Best dessert... the toffee one made with dates.  Take it to go if you don't have room.
