Food is great I will agree but!

Went with a group of 4. Mid week, tuesday, have eatten there lots but this time just went for drinks round 8ish. The restaurant was sparce with about 3 tables in it. The guy that "greeted" us was rude, and short with us. We asked to grab a table, he asked if we were going to eat? We said no not tonight just drinks. He then told us "we reserve the tables for people that are going to be eatting." I replyed with well it seems you have quite a few tables available but if we can grab one and you need to seat it for people wanting to eat we would pay our bill and leave. He refused and said sorry. All for of us work in the industry in yaletown and were shocked at the arrogance. We ended up at Elixer a block down in the Opus hotel and had a blast there. End of the night we got our bill $800. Thats what he missed out on because we didnt want to eat! Never again!

Used to live in the area years ago and used to frequent this place. Have not been in for a couple years and received a mail out saying there are some new things happening. So I went to check it out. I am a foodie and have worked in restaurants for years. It in fact has new owners and they are doing an amazing job! The staff is very friendly and helpful, the new bar and kitchen is great! The ventalation is upgraded and you no longer smell of food when you leave. There are lots of new elements bathrooms, bar, seating, lighting. Food was great good variety of food, lots of good appies, very creative and exiting wine and sangria lists. Well done you won me as a regular once again!! Thanks
